Expanded Home Energy Advising
Offering expanded support for customers of the Mass Save® Sponsors looking to implement home improvements that enhance comfort and health while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
About Expanded Home Energy Advising
This no-cost MassCEC pilot program offers expanded support for customers of the Mass Save Sponsors looking to implement home improvements that enhance comfort and health while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. “Home Decarbonization” refers to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and decreased reliance on fossil fuels. Expanded home energy advising provides homeowners with resources, guidance, and a personalized decarbonization plan, making the journey toward decarbonization smoother while accessing relevant programs, services and incentives provided by the Sponsors of Mass Save, as well as state and federal programs.
Homeowners who express interest in decarbonizing will be connected with staff from Abode Energy Management to discuss their specific decarbonization pathway and walk through a personalized Decarbonization Plan. Through this Pilot, MassCEC aims to build on the foundation of a Mass Save Home Energy Assessment, creating a clear decarbonization plan for homeowners to follow. This plan is designed to help them implement recommendations in a logical order that aligns with their individual needs, budget, and the specific conditions of their home.

Who is eligible?
What is a Decarbonization Consultation?
The Virtual Decarbonization Consultation offered by this program provides homeowners with the chance to learn more about the decarbonization opportunities identified for their homes by the Advisor from the Sponsors of Mass Save like solar energy, electric vehicle charging, and heat pumps, and to discuss their energy efficiency and decarbonization goals with the decarbonization consultant.
